DeSoto, TX - Keep DeSoto Clean Trash Pick Up Day will begin on Saturday, March 27, 2021. This initiative was created as a means for individuals and groups to make a difference in our community. All supplies are provided by the City for all volunteers including gloves, bags, and pickers.

DESOTO, Texas — A new beauty supply shop in North Texas is getting recognized for its owner's determination and decision to open during the pandemic. Lynn’s Beauty Depot opened at 1488 N. Hampton Road in Desoto in June 2020. It’s the first Black-owned, veteran-owned and woman-owned beauty supply store in the city.

DeSoto, TX - As of Noon on January 25, 2021, Dallas County Health and Human Services reported 1,698 new “real-time” COVID-19 positive cases. This included confirmed cases from 1,476 PCR tests and 222 probable cases from lab-confirmed antigen tests.
