DeSoto, TX - The United States Small Business Administration has issued a Disaster Declaration related to the flooding experienced by DeSoto and other area cities in late August. The SBA Declaration opens the door for affected residents to apply for low-interest, long-term loans.

Cedar Hill, TX - On 08-24-22, the pictured suspect entered the Cedar Hill Walmart at 2300 hours and defeated the jewelry case locks. The suspect then took $13,221.00 worth of jewelry out of the jewelry case and left the store without paying for the merchandise.

Red Oak, TX - An Irving woman has been charged with murder following the shooting death of a Red Oak man on Tuesday. At approximately 3:41 p.m. Tuesday, Ellis County Sheriff’s Department deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the 300 block of Josey Lane in Red Oak.
