Cedar Hill, TX - Extra security was employed Tuesday at Cedar Hill's Permenter Middle School a day after a threat to shoot up the school surfaced on social media.
Cedar Hill police and the district's police force are questioning those who are believed to be behind the threat, according to a tweet by the district Monday night.
On the district's Facebook page, someone said her daughter sent her an image that showed up on Instagram that appeared to be the source of the threats.
"Ima going to shoot up the school tomorrow 1st period 7:35 so BE RDY," the image read.
The threat in Cedar Hill came one day after DeSoto's high school and middle schools were put on lockdown after an "unverified threat."
