STATE 6A CHAMPION DESOTO LADY EAGLES TO RECEIVE MAYORAL & CITY COUNCIL RECOGNITION

DeSoto, TX - DeSoto’s Texas 6A State Champion Girls Basketball Team, the DeSoto Lady Eagles, will be recognized by Mayor Rachel Proctor and the DeSoto City Council shortly after 7 PM tonight in our Tuesday, April 6th City Council Meeting.

This is a virtual meeting via video conference. Our facility will be closed to the public but the proceedings can be viewed live on multiple platforms (see below).

Mayor Rachel Proctor will step away from the virtual proceedings on her computer and walk to the City Council Chambers to make an in-person presentation to DeSoto’s champions who will be gathered in-person in the chambers at 211 E Pleasant Run Road in DeSoto, Tx. COVID protocols will be observed.

The building is closed but we are willing to accommodate a limited number of news/sports outlets on-site if they make advance arrangements with DeSoto Communications Manager Matt Smith, at
