DeSoto, TX - The United States Small Business Administration has issued a Disaster Declaration related to the flooding experienced by DeSoto and other area cities in late August. The SBA Declaration opens the door for affected residents to apply for low-interest, long-term loans.
This opportunity applies to business owners, homeowners, and renters. Residents can apply online or meet with SBA at a disaster loan operations center. In Dallas, that center will open at Samuell Grand Recreation Center Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
How To Apply: The City of Dallas has coordinated with SBA to open the facility at the Samuell Grand Recreation Center starting on Monday, September 19. The DLOC will operate from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm., Monday through Friday for a minimum of two weeks and will extend operations if necessary.
