DeSoto, TX - DeSoto police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing woman. Authorities have issued a CLEAR Alert for 23-year-old Alicia Danielle Gongora, who was last seen about 3:15 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of West Wintergreen Road, near North Hampton Road.
Social media helped police identify man who exposed himself to yoga instructor at a DeSoto park

DeSoto, TX - A woman recording a yoga session in a DeSoto park said she was confronted by a man who exposed himself. Then, she turned to social media to expose him. It happened Sunday, at about 7 p.m., at Zeiger Park in Desoto. Within hours, social media had given Gabrielle Dawn everything she needed to give police.

Man arrested after fatally shooting son in front of grandson in DeSoto, police say

DeSoto, TX - A man has been arrested after he shot and killed his adult son in front of his 16-year-old grandson as they fought in Desoto on Friday night, police said. The teen walked to a neighbor’s home to report the grandfather had shot his father, according to the department. The neighbor called police.
