Nonprofit joins forces with local bank to assist DeSoto ISD families

DeSoto, TX - Initially, a lack of funding jeopardized the annual DeSoto ISD Back to School Fair, but a local nonprofit has partnered with Comerica Bank to bring the event back to life. Comerica teamed with DeSoto-based 501c3 We the Village to provide grant funding totaling over $7,000 to purchase supply packs for registered families, the district said in a news release.
