Dallas, TX - A man who got into an accident and got stuck in the mud of a South Dallas median Sunday night was killed moments later, as he began to cross the highway.  The 58-year-old man, who police haven't publicly identified,

was trying to reach the east shoulder of the 8900 block of Julius Schlepps Freeway around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Another driver was headed north on the unlit road and struck the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges have been filed.
