Dallas police seek gunmen who ambushed victims in driveways before robbing them in their homes

Oak Cliff - Police are trying to track down a group of men responsible for five armed robberies this week in Oak Cliff and Old East Dallas.  During at least four of the holdups, the men approached the victims at gunpoint as they parked in their driveways.

The robbers then forced the victims into their homes, officials said.

The robberies were reported Sunday through Thursday in the 4300 block of Cabell Drive, the 2700 block of Maryland Avenue, the 700 block of Nolte Drive, the 900 block of Evergreen Hills Road, and the 5900 block of Llano Avenue, officials said.

The men may also be connected to three robberies that happened on Nov. 30 in the 1000 block of S. Peal Expressway, 5200 East Side Avenue, and 700 Comal Street, police said.

The robbers, believed to be between 17 and 20 years old, have been seen driving a black Cadillac four-door sedan and a gold pickup, police said.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call Detective Joshua Romero at 214-671-3645.
