Enraged Neighbor Shoots Man For Parking In His Spot

Waxahachie, TX – A Texas man was shot in the parking lot outside his residence on Tuesday after his neighbor became enraged that he had briefly parked in the wrong parking space, according to police (video below).

The incident occurred in the 100-block of Kaufman Street at approximately 3 p.m. on April 19, KSDK reported.

Irina Post said her husband’s coworker pulled into the small lot to drop her husband off and briefly pulled into the parking spot belonging to their neighbor, 45-year-old Nikki Brown.

“This next spot is the neighbor’s spot, so he parked there to drop Shane off,” Irina Post explained during an interview with KSDK.

But within seconds of the truck pulling into the spot, Brown charged outside and confronted 32-year-old Shane Post and his coworker about parking in his space, Irina Post said.

“He came out in a robe, and he had already his gun loaded in his pocket,” she told KSDK.

Security footage showed the men arguing out in the lot as Irina Post walked outside carrying her infant daughter.

Shane post was slowly walking away from the truck towards Brown when Brown suddenly shot him in the torso, the video showed.

Irina Post, who was still carrying the baby, ran towards the gunfire as her husband stumbled backwards.

“Shane was on the ground and he was like ‘stop stop,’” Irina Post recalled. “He was screaming to stop.”

Brown yelled for a moment before walking back to his unit, the Waxahachie Daily Light reported.
