Methodist Health opens new center in Waxahachie

Waxahachie, TX- Robert Bush, Vice President of MedHealth Methodist Primary Care Network, welcomed staff, Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce members

and patients to the ribbon cutting of their new health care facility located at 1700 N. Hwy. 77, Suite 210 in the Waxahachie Marketplace Shopping Center Tuesday morning.

The new, 5,000 square foot facility will provide 12 exam rooms, staff offices, work space and a waiting area with complimentary Wi-Fi. The facility will open with two providers, Christopher Broadway, MD, and Brent Baker, PA-C. The facility has space to expand and to four physicians as the need grows.

Dr. George Williams, president of MedHealth, spoke of the importance of Methodist’s relationship with the community.

“Our relationship with the Waxahachie community is a very important one to us,” said Williams. “We’ve enjoyed being here for the past few years, and being a part of such a strong community. We’re excited about being visible in the community, so this is just the start of us having an ever-growing presence here in Waxahachie and Ellis County.”

Bush noted that Methodist Health Care has had an established and strong relationship providing health care in Ellis County.

“We opened our first office in Ellis County over a decade ago, so we’re really excited about opening this new facility, and as Waxahachie and Ellis County grow, we’re excited about being here and being a part of that growth,” said Bush.

Dr. Christopher Broadway, a physician with Methodist Family Health Care Network in Waxahachie, expressed his thanks to the community and the opportunity to continue to provide quality health care at the new facility.

 

“We’re very thankful to have been a part of this community for the past two and a half years,” said Broadway. “We’re looking forward to what the future holds.”
